MEET BERNADETTE GREENE-PLACENTIA
SHE KNOWS THE ROAD.
SHE KNOWS THE WORK.
A trucker, small-business owner, and working-class Democrat, Bernadette has spent her life solving real problems and carrying real responsibility—not climbing a political ladder.
MORE THAN FOUR MILLION MILES OF GRIT, JUDGEMENT, AND EXPERIENCE.
TRUCKER • BUSINESS OWNER •

MILES ON AMERICA’S ROADS
Bernadette has seen this country from the windshield, not from behind a Washington desk.
HER STORY
SHE KNOWS WHAT IT MEANS TO WORK FOR EVERY MILE.
Bernadette Greene-Placentia is a mom, small-business owner, long-haul trucker, and Democrat running for Congress in AZ’s 8th. Raised in a union family, she was selected as a Congressional Youth Scholar in Washington, D.C., and attended the University of Arizona on a full-ride Army ROTC scholarship before a car accident changed her path.
She earned her Commercial Driver’s License in 1997 and went on to log more than 4 million miles over 27 years on the road while building a small trucking business rooted in hard work and service.
She is running to make life more affordable, protect reproductive freedom, strengthen Social Security and Medicare, support workers and unions, and restore accountability in Washington.
Bernadette was raised in the rural Midwest, where neighbors had each other’s backs, doors were often left unlocked, and hard work was not a slogan. It was how families survived and communities stayed strong.
She brought those values into trucking, one of the toughest and most male-dominated industries in America. She earned her place mile by mile, learned the business from the ground up, and went on to run a successful trucking company of her own.
That experience taught her how government decisions land in the real world. She has dealt with fuel prices, insurance bills, regulations, payroll, equipment repairs, and the pressure of keeping a small business alive. She understands what working people face because she has faced it herself.
“I HAVE SIGNED BOTH SIDES OF A PAYCHECK. I KNOW WHAT IT TAKES TO KEEP GOING WHEN THE ROAD GETS ROUGH.”
Bernadette is running for Congress because too many people in Arizona’s 8th District feel ignored by career politicians. She believes public service should be about solving problems, protecting earned benefits, defending personal freedom, and making sure every family has a fair chance to get ahead.
She is a Democrat, but she will represent every person in the district, no matter their party, where they came from, or who they voted for before. She believes neighbors can disagree without treating each other like enemies regardless of party.
Bernadette would bring a working-class woman’s voice to Congress and fight for every family in AZ’s 8th.
WHAT GUIDES HER
Work. FREEDOM. ACCOUNtABILITY.
Bernadette’s Midwestern values were shaped on the road, in business, and in communities where people depend on one another.
Work Deserves Respect
People who put in an honest day’s work should be able to afford a home, see a doctor, raise a family, and retire with dignity.
FREEDOM BELONGS TO ALL OF US
Government should protect personal freedom, voting rights, and the right to make private healthcare decisions.
LEADERS ANSWER TO THE PEOPLE
Public office is a job, not a lifetime entitlement. Bernadette supports term limits, honest government, and clear accountability.
THE ROAD TO CONGRESS
A LIFETIME OF REAL-WORLD EXPERIENCE.
RURAL ROOTS
RAISED TO VALUE HARD WORK AND COMMUNITY
Bernadette grew up with a simple lesson: neighbors look out for neighbors, and nobody is too important to roll up their sleeves.
ON THE ROAD
MORE THAN FOUR MILLION MILES BEHIND THE WHEEL
She built a career in trucking and experienced the country town by town, highway by highway, and job by job. She’s talked to real people in these communities.
SMALL BUSINESS
Built and ran a successful trucking company
Bernadette managed the bills, made payroll, handled DOT/FMCSA regulations, and carried the responsibility that comes with owning a business.
SERVICE
Running to put working people back in the driver's seat
She is ready to bring practical experience, straight talk, and a strong work ethic to Congress on behalf of Arizona’s 8th District.
HER PROMISE TO DISTRICT 8
She will represent the whole district.
Bernadette knows people are tired of the shouting, the stunts, and the endless partisan fights. She will listen first, tell the truth, and work with anyone who is serious about helping Arizona families.
PUT COUNTRY BEFORE PARTY
Good ideas should not be rejected just because they came from the other side.
Protect Earned Benefits
Social Security and Medicare are promises that must be kept.
STAND WITH WORKING FAMILIES
Good jobs, fair pay, strong unions, and affordable healthcare matter.
Invest in Education
Ensure every student has access to a quality education that prepares them for success in school, work, and life.
